why is there coolant in my runners?
well, I went to remove the pass. side runner today and coolant started to trickle out of the bottom 2 bolt holes. Please tell me why. Is there a coolant passage in the intake base or something? Is it possible that TPIS (edelbrock) missed when they forged it?
i don't know for sure but it'd be a good guess the bolt holes go to a water passage

You might try renting a radiator pressure tester (from autozone or somewhere). It will pressurize the cooling system w/ the car running & help you find if you might have a more seirous leak/problem. The only place (I know of) that coolant passes thru the intake is at the front where the thermostat is.
