I think its time for me to start building the motor but have some qoestions about heads i have a 70's style 350 30 over 2 bolt with splayed caps all forged internals i am going to be hopefully looking at 450 to 500hp. this is a race only engine i am going to be getting some heads but i want to make sure i am getting the right ones my first choice was brodix track 1's. and i want to make sure i need about 260cfm to 300cfm to reach my goal correct and would there be another head that would be better. also what sort of intake should i use. Remember this is a gutted car race only no street time. my time goal is mid 11's. thanks for all the reply's.

Hmmm lets see... All Pro makes some good heads. Brodix track1 and 1X are good heads. Dart makes some nice heads. The 220 Raised Runner Head is good. The raised Runner Bow tie head is another good one. I Think you can get it done with the Brodix heads. They will respond well out of the box to a minor port job. Expect close to 300 cfm at .600
