Anyone know what could have cause this?
Well I was driving around for awhile. Anyways when at a light my car died out. I started it back up and drove away. then I looked at my gas gauge and after teh dying out incident. My gas went down by like 1/8 tank! Anyone know what happened? what could have casue the sudden gas loss? thanks.

Rev,
The fuel level indication will change a lot when the tank is anywhere below 1/2 full. Normal fuel slosh from braking and accellerating can change the gauge reading by 1/4 tank or more. Unless you dumped a load of fuel on the pavement, I wouldn't be too concerned about the level. When teh car died the battery voltage likely went down. When you restarted, the voiltage likely went back to 14.5V or so. That alone can change the guage reading. You should realize that the dash instruments are not NASA or FAA grade, for sure.
