Blower, heads and some other questions

Ok, I know, I know. Newbie on here asking stupid questions. Hope I don't **** off too many people, but I'm sure there are a few people out there that love answering these kinds of questions as much as I do (obviously I don't do it on this board though - however, if you have S-10 questions, let me know).

When I sell my truck in a little while (04 Dakota SXT with camper and all that good stuff) I'm going to get my dream car - an 89 IROC-Z with t-tops and a TPI 350. Initially I want to get it rebuilt with low compression forged slugs/rods (probably 8.5:1 just to be safe and enjoy cheap gas while I get my ProCharger on order). I'm curious how an otherwise stock engine will hold up to a ProCharger at about 12psi w/intercooler, Edelbrock headers, and some AFR heads (guessing fairly big ones, just so long as they are emissions legal).

This is going to be a very long-term project - a car I'll probably own until the day I die, so I'm in no hurry to go to town on the engine after the supercharger/heads/headers. Is there anything I need to look out for on a stock L98 with blower and heads?

BTW, my ultimate goal is as much power as I can get and still be emissions legal, so eventually I'll end up with a T56 (but that's a long ways off - first I'll go through a TH700 with auto/man valvebody), a Ford 9" rear end with 3.73s, and a killer suspension (if my passengers don't complain about the ride, it's too soft/docile).

Any and all advice/suggestions are greatly appreciated.

The wrong approach is a stock piston and large chamber head.

The right approach, is a forged inverted dome piston, and small chamber head.

I wouldn't run 8.5:1 compression on a centrifigul blown motor.

What would you run? I'm coming at this from the perspective of someone more familiar with turbochargers (coincidentally I have a Garrett T3 for sale) that need low compression.

Would 9.5:1 be better for 12psi?
