just a question
what do u think a 305 thats bored and honed to .040. with new hyperutectic pistons, stock rods, and a turned .010 crank be worth. im was gonna make a 336 but cant afford the new crank and other stuff, and dont have any thing to put it in. so im wanting to sell it but the works not done yet, just was wandering what it might go for.

If the work hasn't been done, cut your losses. Spend the money (if you need a motor) on a 350 core and have the work done to that. You'll never see anything close to what you spent on machine work in the sale of the 305.

actually the machine work im doing myself for free, like i said im taking an engine machining course. so i just thought there might be somone who just wanted to have a remanufactured 305. Like i thought before some ppl just dont want a 350. not everybody wants one. like in my car i had this 305 ran great for 94,xxx miles no problmes what so every, just smoked a little thats why i took it out but when i put a 350 in my car i have had nothing but problems. but thanks u for ur input just thought maybe there would be someone looking for a 305.
o and well maybe somones interested in a .060 over 350 4bolt. bored and honed.
