To Accel or to not?

Thinking about purchasing a new coil and wires by Accel. I've gotten some mixed opinions in talking with a few friends.

What's your all's take? It'll be installed on a 92 Firebird.

Thanks..

I don't have good things to say about Accel's plugs... the brass terminal on their U-grooves kept unscrewing on me, no matter how hard I'd go back and tighten it down. I even put the plugs in a vise and cranked the terminals on with a pair of pliers- they still loosened! When this would happen, I'd get a misfire... that first diagnosis took forever, after that, when I got a misfire, I'd check the plugs. The electrodes would always be loose. I checked some "new-in-the-box" plugs at Pep Boys, they were the same way.

Accel cap & rotor- I replace my cap & rotor yearly, and noticed the set always gets gunked up inside with carbon tracking. I don't know if that's a normal "years-worth" of wear, or not, but I'm running a genuine Ac/Delco cap & rotor- we'll see how bad this one looks after a year.

Accel coil- I ran the Accel remote computerized HEI coil for 3 years, no problems. I bought an MSD coil when I bought my MSD box.

Accel wires- My dad's had a set of Accel SuperStock wires on his truck since mid-2000, he's had no problems. Other guys like 'em too... you'll probably find your best price at http://www.naparts.com .
