Car idles high and misses

I have an 84 Z with an LG4, stock Q-jet. The other day it just started idling at 1000-1500 RPM. It will not idle down. I backed the idle screw out so far that it isn't touching the throttle linkage. The idle seems to go up as the engine gets warmer. It also started skipping at the same time. It only seems to do it at idle or when I let off the gas while driving. I thought it may be a vacuum leak, but I have looked everywhere and I can't find one. Any help would be appreciated.

Engine: 350 TPI
Transmission: auto
Axle/Gears: 3.23 Limited Slip
My car was running high for awhile. Mine is TPI but I checked the cables and put some moly grease and worked it in and out.

It could be a frayed cable that is getting caught up or even something getting caught in the florrboard (like loose carpet, floormat, etc).

Hope this helps!!!
