L69 and LO3 question

How come the L69 puts out more hp then the L03 but the L03 puts out more torque ? Could some1 explain that to me

Because the L69 flows, but the L03 doesn't. The L03 has the swirl-port heads which are specifically designed to enhance low-end torque at the expense of flow.

LoL ah I see.... I haven't run the 1/4 yet I'm hoping to get to the New England drag this summer and see how I do. I've heard some people say I'd do mid 16s
