Converter/Gear selection help needed!!!

Hey guys.

I just got my Moser 9" housing w/axles. I need to select a gear ratio. At the same time, I need to select a converter for my 700-r4 (lockup).

Here is my motor:
11:1 383, vic junor heads, vic junior intake, 750 dbl pumper, MSD ignition. Hooker LTs, 3" hooker catback, custom solid roller 242/248 duration at .050, .600/.603 lift and 112lsa installed straight up.

Car is an '88 Trans Am, full weight. Its a street car with track in mind. The motor feels like it wants lots of stall and gear.

I am thinking something between 3500-4000 stall and 3.89-4.10 gear. What do you guys think? Most important question is the brand of the converter and size (must be lockup). I don't want to spend way too much, but I also want nice stuff.

Right now the car has the 383, castler 1 5/8" shorties, restrictive y-pipe and single 3" exhaust. Turbo 350 w/10" converter and 3.27 9-bolt. I expect to get a decent performance increase from the gear/tranny/converter and exhaust change. Car setup is older, motor is fresh, hence why I used those parts.

Let me know what you guys think and what brands I should be looking at.

Thanks in advance.

I have pretty much decided on the 4.10 gears. But, I still need converter advice. Someone has to know what a GOOD converter is for our cars w/700. I want 4k stall min. Thanks.

I was thinking about going with the vigelante! They have great reputation.
