SEL gos on car bogs?

so i was driver for about 45mins going 50mph and when the check
engine light came on the car slowed down i wastch the rpms fall and i push on the pedle and it woundnt go anywhere, whats the problem? its done this before near got hit last summer makeing a turn at WOT and she woundnt go anywhere

I recommend pulling the codes. That will tell you why the SEL is coming on and possibly what system is being shut down.

I'm Having The Same Issue

I don't know what it is either. Its when my SES light comes on, it bogs, almost wants to die. If I can fight through it, the code will clear and the car goes back to normal.

Timing maybe...
EGR maybe...

Not hijacking your thread, just some ideas that people have been throwing at me.
