Anybody deal with these pistons? I got a set for my 383 and the pistons say that for every 1" of bore you need .008" end gap which would make .032". The chevy rebuild spec book calls for .010"-.015". and the rings say I need .004" endgap for every 1 inch of bore making .016" end gap. Just wondering if anyone has used these pistons and what did you set the endgap for? My rings right now show .013" of endgap.

Welcome aboard.
I haven't used those pistons specifically, but the word is follow the piston manufacturer's recommendations.
Also, this is more of a Tech/General Engine topic than Engine Swap, so moving there.

i've used alot of them in SBCs, follow the makers spec. the spec in your manual if for the factory pistons, not KB replacements. i use a ring filer, lot quicker and simpler to do that way.

I used those pistons with decent success. The ring gap reccommendations must be followed. Be prepared to use plenty of oil when cold. Every motor I used with kb's made piston noise and used oil. However they ran well.
