That explains it: Replacing cap and rotor today on 1991 305 TPI. Pulled cap off and labeled plug wires.
But now I cant seem to get the rotor off. I keep pulling on it but it wont budge. Seems like its stuck on. The manual says to remove the rotor attaching screws but this thing does not look like it has any kind of provision for them.
The rotor that came with the cap looks like it would just slip on.
Any hints or suggestions??

Is this the standard stock GM remote coil, small cap dizzy that came on every F-body since 88+?
Mine just slips off. No bolts, no screws, no glue nothing.

They always do that when they get old. They stick.
Just blow it away with some great big pliers or something, and put on your new one with a thin smear of that silicone dielectric grease on the dist shaft, to keep it from happening again.
