Ok here is the problem. I have recently pulled the motor out of this car thinking it was a stock 305. Will it wasnt, It is gen 1 crate motor 350 but has the tbi. So I replaced the burnt 700r4 with a t-5 and stuffed the motor back down. I left a few things unplugged like the air and the trany. removed all the plumbing off the exhaust manifolds. removed the mess of heater hoses and plumbed them straight. my problem is when I punch it from the bottom it coughs and chokes, when it comes out of that it seems to run decent, then when you take your foot of the gas and try to run a steady speed it acts like it develops a miss.

Can anybody help me?

 

Did you plug in the O2 sensor, knock sensor, and distributor?
