Quick question

Is the A/C pressure switch normally open or closed is there is no line pressure ?

closed ...If you take a jumper wire and connect the two plug-ins on the connector the compressor clutch will engage

I thought the press switch was for the fan ?

There are three switches on the ac system. Two mount to the lines, these control the compressor. The plug that goes into the top/rear of the compressor is for the secondary cooling fan.
