EGR and pollution controls *PICS*
ok im doing and engine swap, and lets say, no egr, ever again. so anyways is that box(with the dot) part of the egr (im 90% sure it is)
and the new intake is non egr, and there isnt spots for things from the old manifold, like a few electrical conections and for the thing with the arrow pointing to it.(there is another part to that is metal kinda like a fuel line)

and im sure this is pollution controls, but someone told me its worth money and i have two of them (one from a parts car.)

Holy crap! You don't know what the thing with the arrow is but your doing a motor swap?
You will NEED that line - it's the brake vac line - and a must unless you plan on switching the entire brake system. The "Box with the dot" doesn't deal with the egr, but it is emission's related. If you are running EFI, you will need to correct your bin for removing that... it is part of the A.I.R. system that puts fresh air into the exhuast for emission's reasons. The ECM is set to read with that O2 in the system when the ECM signals for it too be there, so not having it may cause your AF ratio to be off slightly.

The brake booster line should be connected to a source of constant manifold vaccum. If there is not a connection on your new intake manifold for it, make one. I drilled and tapped a connection in my manifold when I put in my Holley.

In the second one, it looks like the charcoal canister and the cruise control.
