i have an importanat question
i have a 91 camaro rs with a 305 5speed
after i pull out and go through th egears the car idles at 2000 rpm until i stop then it slowly comes back down to 1000 rpm....what can i do to get it to come down to where its supposed to be all the time or is this supposed to do it....i didnt know where to post it so please help me out guys....thanks

It sounds like it could be a vacuum leak, but does it do this when the engine is warm or cold? Or both?
