weight of 89 IROC

weight of 89 IROC

i have been looking but i cannot find the weight of a 89 iroc or any 3rd gen camaro. i have a fully loaded 89 with the L98 engine and t-tops. the data sheet on the drivers door is totally faded and i can only read a couple of numbers, the only thing i can clearly make out are 4250 which i dont believe is the vehicle weight but gross vehicle weight fully loaded.

any help would be greatly appreciated as i just purchased this car about 5 days ago.

Axle/Gears: 3.70
I wondered the same thing about my 86 TA. So last time at the dragstrip I put it on the scale. The car weighed in at 3335 lbs. with 3/4 tank of fuel, no spare tire, no a/c or sway bar. I would estimate about 125 - 150 lbs total weight taken out.

i finally found a site that had some weights on it for the cars and options so tell me if i am close at roughly 3500 lbs.

I weighed my 89 L98 hardtop IROC with me in it and 1/4 tank of gas... result: 3812lbs
