Torque specs
Should I use the same torque spec for a cast iron intake on an aluminun one for the carb studs? If not what should I torque the studs down to? Just finished putting helicoils in two of the bolt holes. Don't want to have to do it again, so any help u can give me would be a big help.

No need to even torque them, really. They just need to be in there tight enough that they won't back out when you loosen the nut. 10 ft-lbs ought to do it. If you're using bolts instead of studs you would probably want a bit more, maybe in the 12-20 ft-lbs range, depending on the gasket you were using. That's also about what the nuts would need.
