No o2 sensor! WTF?!
Well, i just recently picked up an 87 GTA with a powerplant out of a mid 70's car. now i used a jumper wire to put the car into diagnostic mode and i got a code 13. i go and look to see where the o2 sensor is and it isnt there! now seeing as there isnt one, im probably gonna have to wire one up after i get a fitting welded into the exhaust. just wanted to know how i would go about doing it or should a shop handle it.
Also wondering if this would affect drivability i.e. when i lightly tap the throttle the car will move but when i acctually hit the gas, say halfway she goes nowhere. Also on occasion i can get the car to a good speed but then she starts bucking wild. set TPS and IAC so i can rule those out

If you don't have an O2 sensor the computer won't know whats going on. I'm surprised it even runs!
Definatly get that fixed first

If there's no O2 sensor, the bias voltage goes to 450mv, all other ECM fuel and timing controls will be based on this, regardless of the actual A/f Mixture.
Obviously normal throttle driving will/can suffer.

umm you neglected to state the obvious, like is was still fuel injected? obviously if its not computer controlled you dont need an o2 sensor.
just makin sure cuz you got an old power plant and some people likt to ditch the fi system
