What's the car going to do? i.e., daily driver with a little punch, drag strip trailer queen, etc.? How fast do you intend to make the car go? what RPM? what induction?

It shouldn't see much over 6000 rpm and hopefully around 450 HP or a little less N/A w/ AFR's, superram, and a solid 383. Want to have the ability to add a 150-200 shot of nitrous down the road. It's mainly a street car, not daily driver but would like to drive almost every day w/out rain or snow and a little drag strip use.

It depends on who you talk to, but I think that JE is far and away the best piston you can buy. They're almost indestructable and are machined and cast with very tight tolerances. An all around quality piece.

If you're running NA up to 6 g's then you dont' need something that expensive and you can save some money. I'm not a N20 guy, but I would think that with a 150-200 shot you'd want to go with some JE nitrous specific pistons to guarantee that you wouldn't have to pull the bottom end apart again.
