What heads flow better

i plan on getting after market heads, ive looked and asked around, ive narowed it down two heads, eather Trick Flow 23 degree heads(not G2) or World Producs cast iron Sportsmen 2 heads. the Sportsmen heads have a 200cc intake runer Vs. 195cc runner of the Trick Flows. but wich have better flow numbers.

Hey gold what kind of engine are these heads going on? I have a 400 sbc with the sportsman 2 heads and it makes a heck of a lot of power dyno'd @ 425hp and 520ft/lbs. These heads have the potenial to make great power and lots of lowend torque with the right combo. Just ask the guys at supershop on portage ave. bout B.J's 400 in a purple camaro they'll probably tell u all about it.

The numbers I've seen had the TFS 23 degree heads straight up matching the Worlds on the intake side more or less, with the Worlds lagging behind a decent bit on the exhaust side. Plus the TFS heads are Aluminum, I'd go with them myself from what I know... Don't know how they compare after mild porting or anything though.

Here's a article on my site that has the World heads flowed, along with the G2 TFS. It doesn't have the 23 Degree heads flowed on it, but they are just a little below the numbers for the G2s from what I've seen... The 200ish cc heads chart is on page 6. http://www.inter-scape.com/ray/headstest.htm

pulled the 350 to make way for the 406 wich is in the machine shop. got a comp 282s bum stick with 1.6 rockers. looking at differnt heads right now. 3000 stall converter and a built 700r4. shotin for mid 12s next summer

HEy gold the cams a hyd lifter its comp cam extreme energy #284 I think it has .507/.510 lift with 1.5 rockers but I run the 1.6 rockers so its more like .540 lift. The one time I was at the track I ran a 13.0 with a very poorly shiftly tranny(would rev an aditional 500-600rpm before it shifted), an open diff and and some very tall slicks.
Now have a turbo 350 tranny for pro gear it's a stage 2 with a 2900 stall convertor, posi from an 86 iroc with 3.23's and a set of et streets 26*10.5. I've also since switched to a 750 demon carb instead of the holley. Took a lot of tuning to get it running right but now that it is it goes like hell.
Going to gimli this sunday for the fastest street car shootout, I hope to hit a 12.5.

What colour is your car? Mines a purple 86 with a 3 1/2 cowl hood and a banged up front gfx. Maybe I'll see u around.
Oh yeah comp ratio is 10.5 to 1 I run it with no probs on 92 pump gas

i got a GOLD 85 with a 2inch cowel. might have ground effects when it makes its debut in spring of 2002

Just had to tell someone I just raced this kid in town woth a blue omega not sure what year. Anyways this kids been talking a lot of trash about my car lately cause he fan a 12.95 at the track so he suddenly thinks he's the fast car around. I just put my et streets on and my first trip down main st. who do I run in to why the kid in the omega. We catch the next light so he looks over at me and starts to smirk and revs it a little so I answered him then reved it to 2400 and lauched it from there. His car hooked up perfectly, I spun the tires a little not much. It was game over from the start I was pulling on him even when My tires were spining. By 2nd gear I had atleast 3 cars on him.
