Help me make max reliable HP!

Recently, I just did a compression check and found one cylinder reading a good 50 psi lower that the rest of the cylinders in my Z28. I put 5cc's of oil in the cylinder with a low reading and the psi increased from 120psi to 155psi, all other cylinders read 170psi. I'm not too excited to tell my wife the bad news But a man's gotta do what a man's gotta do! Now, I have a few questions for the rebuild. I plan to spend the money on eagle rods with hyperutecic pistions and balance the motor instead of putting a 383 in. I am wondering what will increase my horsepower best bang for the buck. I have a supercharger on the car running 8lbs of boost. I am contemplating putting a set of AFR's on the car and leaving the stock cam or porting a set of stock l98 heads and putting 1.6 exhaust valves in and a larger cam ( compucam 2032r). I have a good line on the afr's for about 1000 bucks. To get the heads and cam would cost me about 650. What should i do?
