New Trans Am owner with question

Hey guys, just picked up an 84 Trans Am which will need to be restored. The wheels and tires are off an 89 Formula with the stock cast aluminum rims. I noticed that on the drivers side the front rims and tires stick out a little more than on the passengers side. Its not much but is that normal for an 84 Trans Am?

No, They should "stick out" the same on both sides.

Could it be an alignment issue? Is there anything else I should be looking for?

Much like the GTA wheels....where is a "front" and a "rear" set. Take all 4 wheels off and look on the back of them. Youll see what Im talking about.
