Special timing light for MSD?

I have read somewhere that multiple spark discharge systems need a special timing light to accuratly check timing. I have since looked for such lights and have been unable to come across one. Do I really need a certain one? I am running the Accell 300+ which is multiple spark discharge and none of the literature it comes with says anything about a special light.

I use an inexpensive timing light and it works fine.

My inductive timing light doesn't like the multiple sparks. I have to bypass the box to set/check the timing. That's probably what you'll have to do.
