Hey. These are pictures of my old cap and rotor that I replaced trying to diagnose a slight random misfire.
My new cap and rotor that I have had on for about a week (bosch) have these same deposits etc. I was wondering if this is normal or if there is some kind of problem somewhere.

Yes that is normal. Both are forms of wear.

 

Yep, that's normal, everytime a spark jumps the gap it causes a tiny bit of metal to erode away.
