tranny removal from seized engine

I'm looking to remove a 700R4 from my 89 iroc-z. I was wondering if anyone has ever done this without removing the engine. The car is in the process of parting out due to body damaged thus the reason I would rather not have to remove the engine.

Thanks,
-Brandon

No reason the tranny won't come out..the TC will stay on the flexplate...you'll be best with a floorjack or tranny jack so you can slide it back abuot 4 inches for the input shaft to clear from the TC.
