I have the hyper tech chip in right now, say i installed a holley 650 carb non comp. controlled, which do you think would help my car out better as far as performance, taking out the comp. for the holley, or leaving it with the q-jet and hypertech chip??

IMO I've never have experienced 'performance' from a computer controlled carb. Then again I've driven in many holley equipped cars that ran like crap in the rain and drank more gas cruzin than a 502cu in motor wide open with FI.
My bet would be a 500-600 cfm non cc'd carb on a performer or rpm intake should do better, if you can dial it in. and dial the distrib curve in also.
The amount of gain you may experience may not justify the added expense of gas, then again a properly tuned carb shouldn't drink much more than the FI if you drive WOT alot.

Well I'm assuming it will be tuned and dialed in perfectly, cause i would have my friend who is a mechanic and races for fun so im sure he knows what hes doin. I guess ill just drop in the holley and throw on a intake
