getting ASE certification
getting ASE certification
im applied at a local jiffy lube the other day and the manager told me i need to be certifide within one month of hire, but i heard that you need to work in an automotive field for 2 years to be certifide. so whats the deal?
and if i wanted to get the certification without working at jiffy lube (which i do), what would i do and who would i contact?
thanks alot

Go to www.asecert.org and check it out.
I did have more than 2 years but no-one ever checked or asked me for any proof...I bet if you just paid for the test and took it, no-one would know the difference.
Hurry, deadlines for registration are sept.
