how to set timing after change to carb

With TBI, you dicsonnect the electronic vacuum advance and hook the timing light to the number one plug wire using an inductive pick up. How does setting the timming differ without the computer?

I never thought I'd see this... boy do I feel old.

Anyways, to answer your question, if there is a vacuum advance on the distributor you have (MSD pro billet eh?) then you have to disconnect and plug that before you set your base timing. Thats the only difference.
