gyrating belt
I have a three belt setup (not serp) and my AC compressor belt it going all over the place. The compressor isn't seized and the belt is very tight with very little deflection. My old belt never did this?

check your pulley to make sure it is not bent, and make sure the belt is not too tight. if it is too tight it can burn up the bearings/bushings in your accessories and then cause excessive shaft and pulley movement
