Do subframe connectors improve traction???

In other words, will I see improved ETs with subframe connectors? Thanks.

Maybe slightly, but not much. Probably the increased weight will offset any traction improvement. On the other hand, if you do things that actually do improve traction (LCA lowering brackets and sticky tires for example), the car will bend and maybe even break in places without SFCs. It's a little like using a forged crank instead of cast: by itself it won't lower your ET, won't give you a single HP, but when you do pile on the things that really do increase HP, it can withstand them that much better.

SFC will stiffen the body, keeping it from flexing. It's an improvment over a factory setup but SFC alone aren't guarenteed to see better ET.

The key to getting a better ET is traction. Anything you can do to improve traction will lower your 60 foot time. SFC are only one part. LCA and relocation brackets, and an aftermarket torque arm will also be needed.

If 60 foot times are poor because of wheel spin then slicks are required.

Most of the time all these suspension upgrades will only see a slight improvement in ET. It depends on the rest of your engine, transmission and rear end gearing. The improvements you're more likely to see is consistancy.

Speed means nothing in a bracket race but having a car that runs consistant from round to round is hard to beat.

Where you're more likely to see improvements with SFC is on the street or road course (autocross) racing. The stiffer body will be more responsive in turns.
