OTC Monitor 2000 any good ?

i've heard good things about it and read stuff posted by ede about how he's had positive experiences with the tool. i need this for an 91 V6. what do ya'll think ??

well i'd tell you mine does good, but i doubt if that would reassure you very much. it was the best scanner made when they were first introduced but otc messed up big time by not making the softwear interchangeable from 1 series to the next. there is nothing made for it past 93, you'd have to get a completely new scanner.

ede i'm not having any luck tracking one down. does anybody still sell these or have a used one for sale ? i've hit ebay, cz28, mfba, netgo, tgo, search engines and i still can't find one.

there ought to be quite a few laying around unused since they've become more and more outdated as time goes by. ask the snap on, mac, and matco tool salesmen if they have any they took on trade. a few years back i saw a big stack of them at a flea market for sale.

I've got one I'll sell you. It has only the domestic chip, and all the literature, connectors and origional case that it came with. I need some thing more advanced where I work. All but one of our vehicles are OBD 2. Email me.

I just bought one for 40 bucks. Sanme thing. it came with the 82 -89 chip in it. I have a 89 Bird so i was lucky. Best tool I ever bought. It even works on my 90 lumina , but i have to enter 89 instead.
