well, i have messed up my a/c compressor.... now it wont turn without serious effort. so, what do i do to gut the stupid thing? my a/c doesnt work anyways, so i want just want it to be a empty pulley.

I know what I did when the AC compressor took a dump... This mod only costs the time it takes to remove the compressor, the bracket, and all the rest of the crap associated with the AC system! It may cost you the price of a belt if you have a serpentine pulley setup... I think there is even a whole article devoted to this very topic

Dont forget to get that stupid condenser out of the way of your radiator if you are pulling the compressor, your car will run noticably cooler...at least mine did!
