Can u just take the fuse out of the stock pump and install an inline fuel pump? Or will it not let passage of fuel unless turned on???

yes you can. it is a flow through design and the new pump will just suck through

Just to be clear. Does it matter whether it's a TBI or TPI pump or are they the same? I want to run an external pump taht was supplied with my new Accel Pro Ram to make sure I get enough fuel.
