I'm going to be installing a set of Hooker Super Comp shortie headers on my 89 Formula 350 tpi. I saw that you need a new a/c bracket when installing the SLP shortie headers. Do you need this with the Hooker headers. Thanks.

 

I have put the hedman hedders on and yes I had to modify the bracket for the power sterring pump, and I have not as yet modified the ac bracket as the ac is not working yet. Next summer I will modify the bracket. To modify I just used a grinder to remove medal to make the bracket fit around the exhaust pipes.

 

I did the same, I just grinded away until it fit.
