Stalling problem

Hi,
A while ago, I posted about this problem with no solution found. Now the car has become my daily driver and it's even more important I get it fixed since it will never pass emissions like this and I have the yearly inspection coming up. The symptoms:
1. Stalls after I release brake pedal after sitting at traffic lights, only sometimes and only when car is warm.
2. Same as above when making a turn while coasting.
3. BAD smell of gas.
4. Uneven starting (sometimes starts right up, sometimes need to crank a while)
Vacuum system seems to be OK. Car won't stumble when vacuum applied to EGR so it should be good. TPS checks out ok.
I believe I am bogging since I have a Holley 255 gph pump I installed in the hopes of going forced induction later. Problem is my fuel pressure is way high, even with my adjustable fuel pressure regulator as low as it will go.
How can I lower my fuel pressure?
Should I program a chip?
I'd appreciate any suggestions. Thanks a bunch.

You will need to change your fuel pressure regulator. TPI regulators run at a higher range than one for a carb. A normal psi for carb is about 7.

That sounds like a good idea but, should I reinstall my stock fuel rail mounted regulator and go with an external one like aeromotive?
