Idle Problems, and more
(ahhh where do I begin) Ok it all started when I got my valve stem seals replaced due to excessive start up smoke, *** soon as I left the shop I noticed that my rpm gauge was jumping and the car would shut off occasionally when stopped, the car had a really nice deep sound too, similar to my normal v8 rumble but only deeper, (actually it sounded really cool and i didnt really mind) anyway I drove it like that for a couple of days but the shutting off every now and then really got to me so I came to the conclusion that all I need to do it was ajust the throttle.
I gave that little screw behind the throttle a little turn or two and everything sounded normal I was idleing at little above 6000 rpm and my gauge stops jumping (and with that there goes my nice rumple), everything seemed cool but after driving the car for a little while I found myself running into the same problem , I didnt think anything of it soo I just made another ajustment and got the same results. The problem seems to get worse the more I drive it, it turns off on me more more often, the longer i drive it.
Also Iam having this other problem (this is something thats been happening to me since i got the car about a month ago) and I cant help but think that this problem is some how related to the shutting off, anyway its like a studdering when I press the gas it doesnt respond right away it kinda shakes a little and kinda does a few little jumps in a jerking motion before the power kicks in , its kinda like iam stomping on the gas pedal about 3 or 4 times before i finaly keep my foot steady on it (now that i think about it, it sort of feels like its wanting to shut off on me but it cant cuz iam on the gas) Anyway...
The studdering problem only happened every once a while when I first got the car and the shutting off only happened once maybe twice, But now it seems like this is all the car is doing, iam almost certain that these two problems go hand in hand.
CAN ANYBODY HELP ME OUT HERE !?!?!?!?!?!?!

I suggest checking your tps adjustment. There is a tech article on it. My car had a similiar problem when I had tpi on it. It would want to die all the time when it was idling and wouldn't accelerate for anything. Good luck
