Cooling Fan

The cooling fan isn't coming on when the car reaches normal op temp. However, when I turn on the A/C it kicks on. Bad fan switch? All fuses are good under the dash. Are there any fuses controlling the fan under the hood? It's an 89 305 TBI.

It sounds like the fan switch. If it comes on with the AC but not the fan switch, and both signals feed the same relay, then it is the switch.

definatly the fan switch. I tested mine by diconnecting the lead form the switch, and grounding the wire to the block, the fan should come on as long as your ignition is in the on position.
