Ignition Problems?
Ignition Problems?
my 1991 Camaro RS (305) recently lit up the engine service light. Code 15 - put in new coolant sensor, then cleared memory (disconnected neg. term. fer 30 sec). When I tried to start it up after reconnecting, the starter and everything worked. I a pretty sure i was getting fuel, but it would not start. any ideas? btw - i did check the connection at bat., it is good. Any help would be great!!

Ok, I have just put a new distrobution cap, new spark plug wires, new spark plugs, and new rotor. It is getting fuel, or atleast the injectors are working (visual), I am getting a spark. Please, if anyone has any ideas, let me know!

ok, these will sound stupid and i don't mean to insult anyone. but did u make sure the key was OFF when u disconnected the battery. and this also sounds crazy, but maybe the sensor somehow did something, try disconnecting it and see wut happends. and make sure u have spark from the wires when ur cranking the engine.
