I was coming home thursday night and about 2 miles from home I started smelling anifreeze really strong. I decided I'd better get on home and not stop to look before all of it leaked out.

After I got home I was looking and some anifreeze had leaked into the passanger compartment right under where the heater core box is under the dash, but not much. A lot of water had leaked on the engine side of the firewall, I had lost all my coolant.

Now that I've looked at it better I see where it is coming out of outside, but I don't understand what it is. When I put water in the radiator water comes out of this "spout" in the picture. Does anybody know what it is and why coolant would be gushing out of it?

That is your A/C box drain.

The heater core is leaking.

Ok, thanks, I thought it was the heater core but that "spout" confused the hell out of me.
