How much can a 700R4 or T5 take?

I went to the USGP race yesterday and it got me thinking. If you could (theoretically) make the redline on a 305 or 350, 18000RPM would the transmission hold up? And if it won't hold up to that much, which I doubt it can, how much can it take?

i hope you're joking...18000 rpm

do a search maybe in the transmission/drivetrain forum
the power levels that a 700 and a t5 can take have been posted many times, and its also not so much the actual power, its how much you abuse it

I'm not serious about getting an engine to 18000RPM, thats the speed the F1 cars run at. I just wanted to know the max of a thirdgen transmission.
