The ball doesn't "run" the power brakes.
All it does, is accumulate enough vacuum to work the A/C and heater doors in the interior, and the cruise control, while engine vacuum is low (like when you floor it).
Hook your power brake line to the plenum.

And the "correct" name for that reservoir on TGO is "Orb of Power"

No, it can't.
Hook the power brake vacuum line to a plenum source, rather than a runner source.
(Yes, we did read what you said.)

alrighty then. didnt sound like you understood what i said. i have an edelbrock RPM AIR Gap manifold and a 650 DP. im getting like 14" of vacuum at idle off of the hole i elbowed off on the manifold that is normally under the secondary bowls but i put a spacer on it to get under there.
so i just need a canister then. why the heck do they call it a vacuum reserve ball if it cant hold vacuum. eh what can ya do right? oh well thanks anyway

Wow, you've invented a carb intake with no plenum?? That's amazing!!
(because every single and dual-carb intake commercially available has a plenum)
