need serpentine conversion help
I'm doing the serpentine belt conversion on my 84 (LG4). I got all the brackets and pulleys from an 89 Caprice 350 TBI. Now I need to find an A/C Compressor. Does anyone know if I need to get a caprice compressor or will almost any serpentine compressor do? I can pick up a compressor from a truck or van for not too much money. I'm mainly worried about the pulley not lining up with the rest of my setup. Thanks in advance.

Just about any serpentine compressor should work. The R-4 compressor bodies are all just about the same, its the pullies that are different, and it if has the serpentine pulley on it, it should work.
