kind of a weird one

I dont know when this problem started, but everytime i hit my brakes, my front parking lamps come on Does anyone have any idea what is wrong with this? Has this ever happened to any one before?

My 85 Firebird S/E does this and I have no idea what the problem is.I was told it was something electrical but I dont know.I havent had the time to mess around with it and now im selling it.

Look at the bulbs in each of the rear sockets.... I'll bet one of them is in the socket wrong, such that one contact of the bulb is touching both contacts of the socket

Hey that might make sense. i was just back there the other day replacing bulbs. Can you elaborate on that some? I think i know what you mean but i am not 100% sure

And if that doesn't get it, check the grounding at the rear lamps - although it would take a seriously bad ground connection somewhere at the rear end to cause that.
