quick connector help

quick connector help

Single wire male connector, the wire is green, connector says "PED" (if thats relevant), coming out of wiring harness from behind distributor, 87 tpi, its not the MAT sensor, looks like like the male end of the o2 sensor, or the EST.

The "PED" is "Packard Electric Division", the GM division that designs and makes the WeatherPack connectors on most of our cars. They should all have that marking. Even Ford uses some of them because they know there are none better.

A single green wire in that area would likely be for the EGR diagnostic temperature sensor:
