non start when hot

I am sorry this is a 4th gen question posted for a desparate friend with a 98 3.8 litre the car seems fine when cold but when it has been on a run & gets warm & is turned off when you go to re start all you get is dash lights & nothing els (every things quiet) until it cools down. we can not find any one over here that knows please help !!

The only thing I could guess would be the hot start problems in thirdgen... Used to happen to me until i got a new starter... There are also some starter relocators....

You may also want to check the selinoid(spelling)

Search the boards for hot start or will not start when hot.. you should find something./..

Excalty what the say.. relocate the starters... to another location... so that the starter isn't in such a hot location...

However, I don't think it is the actual starter... But thats what Ive heard it called...


the started is way to big to move and wouldn't fit right anywhere else...
