TTA up for adoption....

Ok here is the deal I have an almost completed my rebuild on my TTA, but Im not really happy because I really want a 6-speed car.
Here is the kicker I want it in a thirdgen.(I know they never made them)
I am willing to part with the TTA if anyone knows where I can find what I am looking for, or if anyone is willing to make me a good offer.
I know this isnt tech, but I put it here because the most people would see it here.
Lock it if you need to.
All in responses can be sent to:

Well it depends on what else is done to it. It has to be atleast as fast as a TTA is stock+ look clean + have some tricked out stuff on it.

Heres an idea: Why not just put a six speed in your TTA? It would be faster than a V8 six speed. Thats what I would do. also, it would be worth more.

I dunno, I kind of understand where you're coming from. I'd feel bad about beating on a rare car, like the TTA. I'd totally prefer to modify a car, without having to worry about keeping the stock pieces in good condition.
I felt the same way when I was given a '69 Mach 1 to use for a summer. Let me tell you, the guilt was almost unbearable as the tires went up in clouds of smoke.

Go to kyfbodies.org and look for a guy named red91z. he has a 91 Z with a LT1 and I think he just finished a six speed swap. If not he may be doing it soon. He may want to trade.

I will not hack up a legendary car. I just couldn't do it, plus I don't have the skill(or practice) to do the welding and what not that goes along with it. A TTA is not the type of car to get your feet wet with.

But its YOUR car. If you love her, if she's part of your family and not just an investment, go for it. There's a lot of people with "collectible" 60s musclecars who have improved their cars with disc brakes, crate engines, etc. etc. Just my $.02.

p.s. The 6-speed swap isn't that destructive to the car.

If THAT's what you feel when your tires smoke, then you should really reconsider driving ANY fast car, no matter if it's a GM or a Ford.

OVRCLK350.
you are my boy but you are sadly mistaken any manual tranny will have less parasidic loss of power and therefor will make the car faster due to less loss of drivetrain power. Pluss the close ratio of the T-56 would keep the rpm up higher in a race therefor keeping the boost highter with these too factors the car would make the car much faster.

sorry billy
