Howdy all,
Ok i was just drivin down the road and it suddenly occured to me that i wanted to see how fast i could get to in this strait away... hahaha...
so i shifted from 5 to 3... the rmps shot up but it didn't redline and i floored it... when i did the combo of downshifting and giving it gas there was a hissing sound from out in front of me somewhere....
it sounded like a pressure valve... just a short pssst.... kinda loud.... i was wonderin what this is???

btw.... i have a 92 RS with a 3.1L 5-spd

Might have been the sound of air being sucked through the intake...

Or maybe you have a small hole in the intake somewhere that's whistling.
