i have a v belt system...the 2 belts are as tight as i can get them...i've tryed to stop them from squeeking numberous times...but they won't stop...they just squeek at start up for like 10 seconds, but its annoying...anything i can spray on them to keep them from stop squeeking or something?

 

Make sure the pulleys are aligned, try new belts, or spraying some belt dressing on might work for a while.

 

Replace them if you haven't anyways. On my car, I had a pinhole leak on the rad hose that sprayed one of the belts. So when ever I started it up, it slipped and squeaked as you say yours does. Like I said if you haven't replaced em in a while it can't hurt anyways.

 

yea they are brand new, and the accessory pulleys are all lined up it seems like....i'm gonna get that belt dresser or whatever and see what that does....you can't really show off your car when you start it up and it squeels for like 20 seconds...
