when i go to give my car a rev like even alittle rev it bogs down and then back to idle, and if ur like goin to drive it once and a while it will back fire threw the carb but doesnt really do that im thinkin givin it a really good carb cleanin and when i get the exuast on maybe it will stop that. please respond thanx

ok , hmmmmm lets see, i would say its your timing or a broken rocker, is it up to power, ae your lifters ok? if its popin you timing is messed up or you exhaust valve is not openin on one of your cylinders, i had a car that ran fine at idle, but when i steped on the gas, it poped through the carb, replaces a 2 dollar rocker arm and girdle, and i was set, i payed 150 for that car just because of that, when adjusting your timing, if thats what it is, be careful no to tightin down your distributor to much, you will strip it from the intake, and then u will be buying a new intake let me know how it turns out or what else )info ) u need
